See, I always knew it ain't easy, but it wasn't until last night that I realized just how hard it is for a pimp.

Poor pimps. We should start a Save the Pimps Foundation.

Today's happy news - I am starting to taste more of my food. Stoopid cold
Glad it's getting a bit better, beth.
On day 2 of a mild but annoying migraine here. I had to put in 8 hours yesterday once my vision cleared up, but today I was able to indulge the urge to sleep and did absolutely nothing productive. Fortunately, when I gave in to commercial advertising and braved a restaurant full of screeching children for Lobsterfest tonight, I at least got the consolation prize of a friendly and smoking hot waiter. Ah, if only I were a decade younger or a much more blatant lech...
You are to be commended, Matt, for even thinking about flirting on day 2 of a migraine.
I should point out that my migraines tend to be quite mild ones that I can medicate into submission if I can get Naproxin into my system at onset. I've had some light sensitivity and the background awareness of pain looming for about 40 hours, but not much in the way of actual pain. The biggest annoyance was I was 2 1/2 hours late for work yesterday waiting for my vision to clear enough to drive safely.
Also, the waiter guy was really hot.
Migraines suck.
In happy news for me, I just skipped four thousand posts in order to post that I can post again! Woo hoo! I HAVE A NEW POWER CORD!!!11!!!1! THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!!!! My computer is ALIVE again! It's ALIVE!
Also, I received nine hours of sleep last night, for the first time in forever. It was awesome. And then I got a phone call from someone wondering where he put his keys, but it was after I had already woken up, so it was just a funny way to start the day.
ALSO ALSO, I went to the Beverly Center and treated myself to books, pizza, new face cleaning stuff, and a lumbar support pillow--since I've put 400 miles on my rental car this week alone, and also sit in a chair for eight hours straight at my awesome new job.
Triple also, I felt like I got a great deal on gas, since the place directly across the street from me was only $2.45 a gallon, and I didn't feel the need to go far to look for a better price.
Lots of happy news for me, which helps make up for the scary week from hell I had two weeks ago.
Yay Alibelle!
Thanks, Burrell!
Also, it turns out the tires are okay. It was just a very bumpy freeway. Which is nice to know.
