"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I should point out that my migraines tend to be quite mild ones that I can medicate into submission if I can get Naproxin into my system at onset. I've had some light sensitivity and the background awareness of pain looming for about 40 hours, but not much in the way of actual pain. The biggest annoyance was I was 2 1/2 hours late for work yesterday waiting for my vision to clear enough to drive safely.

Also, the waiter guy was really hot.

Migraines suck.

In happy news for me, I just skipped four thousand posts in order to post that I can post again! Woo hoo! I HAVE A NEW POWER CORD!!!11!!!1! THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!!!! My computer is ALIVE again! It's ALIVE!

Also, I received nine hours of sleep last night, for the first time in forever. It was awesome. And then I got a phone call from someone wondering where he put his keys, but it was after I had already woken up, so it was just a funny way to start the day.

ALSO ALSO, I went to the Beverly Center and treated myself to books, pizza, new face cleaning stuff, and a lumbar support pillow--since I've put 400 miles on my rental car this week alone, and also sit in a chair for eight hours straight at my awesome new job.

Triple also, I felt like I got a great deal on gas, since the place directly across the street from me was only $2.45 a gallon, and I didn't feel the need to go far to look for a better price.

Lots of happy news for me, which helps make up for the scary week from hell I had two weeks ago.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yay Alibelle!

Thanks, Burrell!

Also, it turns out the tires are okay. It was just a very bumpy freeway. Which is nice to know.

That's kind of funny. I hate the feeling of bumpy freeways, but having a big car kind of mitigates that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay Alibelle! What is the new job?

I had an awesome day. We went to Oh Chocolate, where we namechecked ita, and got lots of free chocolate as a result, then to the Original pancake house, then to the zoo, then to sushi and cupcakes, and then to Pete and Jilli's, and Pete made the squinchy face a lot, which only made him more adorable.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh Chocolate is going to be SO dangerous.

I can tell. The storerunner types are sweet, the chocolate is excellent, and OMFG, the selection. So much to choose from.

Plus, flyers for local Krav. Also possibly dangerous.

In other happy news, all your Perkins are belong to us, as noted above.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yay for chocolate!

Me, I slept. Watched some downloaded TV, took a phone call, but mostly slept.

Which is why I'm awake now.

Pondering the practicality of moving into the living room and watching the recorded Miami Vice, or lying in bed trying to get back to sleep until the real morning.

flyers for local Krav. Also possibly dangerous.

Whee! They're total dolls, as I'm sure you've become aware.

Since touques make me look like a muppet, no good can come from that.

You look adorable in a touque. Plus, your nose is nowhere big or orange enough for you to look muppetish!

Jimmy the cat woke me up by lying on my chest, demanding pats. This is very unusual, so we had a nice little cuddle. Now I'm up, drinking tea, and planning to clean the main floor and bake a banana bread. Such a lazy Sunday.
