Oh, and in another meMeME: apparently, my computer lets me use the gmail chat. That's the first chat I've ever used. Ever. Or any messanger of any kind.

So I've travelled abroad to stay with strangers I met online, but never used a chat, until today. Does that seem right to you? t /Jubal Early

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So I've travelled abroad to stay with strangers I met online, but never used a chat, until today. Does that seem right to you?

Have you ever used emoticons?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Nilly, I liked the movie. Obviously I did not have a lot invested in watching it, having waited ~4 months to see it (we'd even had the DVD in the house since Xmas!) so I was able to have a LOT of fun, like revisiting old friends.

And can you beleive I was able to stay unspoiled for everything till watching? It boggles.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Argh -- I had a group assignment due yesterday and I just noticed that the person who took responsibility for turning it in (posting it online) did so late. Bah.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nilly, what address are you using for the gmail chat?

Cashmere - Feb 28, 2006 6:19:48 am PST #141 of 10001
Now tagless for your comfort.

It sounds high to me, Cashmere, but I do live in the Land of Cheap Waxing, so. And I'd do it no more than a week ahead of time, but my hair grows fast.

It's a chi-chi salon, Jesse, so I'm probably paying extra for the fountains and complimentary beverages. I could probably get into the local beauty school for a lot less but I think I could splurge this once.

Oh, and in another meMeME: apparently, my computer lets me use the gmail chat. That's the first chat I've ever used. Ever. Or any messanger of any kind.

It's been a loooong time since I've chatted online. Life's too unpredictable for me and I always end up needing to run away mid-conversation.

I got an e-mail once explaining some emoticons and what they're supposed to represent. Does that count?

Considering the months I stayed unspoiled for it myself, I can totally believe it. Especially if you didn't go online looking for information. But I'm glad you liked it, the whole visiting-old-friends feeling and all. I felt it, too - especially at the "let's go through the ship" part at the beginning. I missed her.

Perkins, nilly.madar (I have no imagination in inventing names, I'm afraid. I've never had a nick online, too. So it's another thing I've never done, and still haven't).

Totally splurge, Cash.

I kind of hate online chat. Or, I hate when I leave it open and start doing other things and then messages pop up unexpectedly. Which is why I never have AIM on.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

For not being New York it sounds on the high end but not outrageously so. I'd go for it.

Oh, and what Jesse said about no more than a week ahead.

I've never done any sort of instant messaging...no wait. There was something I used to do on the VAX back in college. Talk? Phone? But since then, nope. I tend not to answer my phone, too.
