Giles: I jump out of the circle, jump back in, and, and, shake my gourd. Buffy: Hey, I think I know this ritual. The ancient shamans were next called upon to do the Hokey-Pokey and to turn themselves around.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

A Harry/Colbert pairing?

Not sexual, thank goodness. But it's bloody hysterical.

Between Lorien and Rivendell.

The rated M one at that page called "Shorts Weather" is a tad more disturbing--it's Bill O'Reilly/Colbert (mild) slash!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Harry Potter and the Eagle of Truthiness.

Oh, it's been WAY too long since I looked at that. Love it.

The only non-Colbert related HP fanfic I read is the ongoing project Facilis Descensus Averno, which is dark juicy Slytherin backstory.

I have to bring it up every so often. Just because.

Also, as there are other books out there besides "Harry Potter," I'm almost done with Michael Chabon's "The Yiddish Police Union." Which is a lovely, weird little book.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I have the new Chabon book but haven't started it yet. Is good?

Took me a while to get into it, what with the Jewish names and Yiddish diction. At first pass, I thought it was a bit impenetrable. Then I got used to it, and now it's hard to put down. Once it takes off, it just goes.
