Oh, except for that one. That one's totally accurate.
The epilogue scans looked real as far as looking like pages from a book, but they read like bad fanfic. I guess it's possible that JKR outsourced the last 5 pages of the book to a 13 year-old girl on LJ, but it doesn't seem likely.

COMPLETELY!
Is there a linky bob to the scans of the epilogue?
but they read like bad fanfic
Huh, they read like Rowling, to me.
She just may be going in a direction that some folks would consider bad fanfic.
Well, HBP seemed like bad fanfic to me at times. I hope DH is less focused on teen romance.
I LIKE teen romance, and a lot of HBP seemed like bad fanfic to me!
It's not like
Harry liking Ginny and Ginny liking him back
is a big surprise.
Robin, I saw your post about the Shetterley-Bull tour - I like both of them, her especially. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be coming east. sigh.
Todd, I asked Will in his LJ about an eastern swing to the tour and his answer was:
"Alas, not this year. I think in fairness, if we do another tour, it'll have to be the east coast equivalent of this one. Which would be heaps o' fun.
I like Will and Emma a lot, more so for having met them in person a couple of times over the years. May their new books thrive!
(not much hope of this post not being drowned in Harry Potter chat, not that there's anything wrong with that)
Nope, no Easterly stuff this time. They are going to be hitting several spots in Canada, for northerly-dwelling Buffistas to enjoy.

I'm reading the summaries on SparkNotes, and I'm surprised that the bad fanfic isn't as prevalent as I remember. It's a small part of the book, but it's a very
strong
part because it's so in-your-face and unsubtle. There's all this other good stuff there that I totally forgot about. For instance, until I started catching up, I did not even remember that Professor Slughorn existed.
