I'm totally avoiding all spoilers for HP7, and will be reading my book on Saturday before I venture anywhere near the Intertubes.
I would love to have that old thread brought back to life for unwhitefonted posting about the book! Maybe we can retitle it "Buffista Book Club - the Inferi Edition" for its zombiefied form?
So far all the HP7 spoilers I've seen have screamed FAKE to me. (Except for the ones that have screamed WELL, DUH and are therefore probably also fake.)

Cause I totally did.
I saw what was supposed to be scans of the epilogue, and I liked what I saw. If it was a fake, somebody has got more time on their hands than anyone should and has perfected the art of imitating field of focus.

The epilogue scans looked real as far as looking like pages from a book, but they read like bad fanfic. I guess it's possible that JKR outsourced the last 5 pages of the book to a 13 year-old girl on LJ, but it doesn't seem likely.

She just may be going in a direction that some folks would consider bad fanfic.
Well, HBP seemed like bad fanfic to me at times. I hope DH is less focused on teen romance.
I LIKE teen romance, and a lot of HBP seemed like bad fanfic to me!
