Wowwwww.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Skarsgård is... not who I would have cast as Murderbot. Huh.
Me, either. I always thought of MurderBot as a Brienne or Bobbie Draper sort of physical presence, even if it's actually genderless.
I had not begin to speculate who could possibly be cast, but I can see if you were cloning someone to turn into murderbots you might pick Skarsgard. I'm interested to see what he does with the role, his turn playing himself on Atlanta was not what I expected (a little like NPH in Harold in Kumar)
I hope everyone playing humans aren't white. And that the action-y bits are great. And that any Sanctuary Moon we see lives up to my imagination. And after listening to the Dramatized Adaptations I really don't want ART to be a feminine voice like every other SF ship seems to be (I was a little surprised how angry that made me, but now I know). I don't know how likely any of that is. But I will wait and see.
I hope everyone playing humans aren't white.
If Martha Wells has any say in casting (not guaranteed), I'm sure there will be plenty of non-white humans. (Sendhil Ramamurthy for Ratthi NOW)
Ooh. Yes, please.
Bobbie Draper
I think I get some sort of demerit for my first thought on reading this was "Mad Men?"
In your defense, it is kind of wild that there are two of them in relatively close pop culture proximity.
I appreciate the benefit of the doubt
I don't have a sense of how far AppleTV can be trusted. I think all I've watched has been Ted Lasso and Severance. Those were both better than they really had any right to be, is that the expectation to have?
Silo isn't perfect but it was interesting. Same with For All Mankind.
