Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

I think I get some sort of demerit for my first thought on reading this was "Mad Men?"

I don't have a sense of how far AppleTV can be trusted. I think all I've watched has been Ted Lasso and Severance. Those were both better than they really had any right to be, is that the expectation to have?
Silo isn't perfect but it was interesting. Same with For All Mankind.
I haven’t watched Silo because all I remember from reading Wool is that I was mad at it.
I watched all of The Morning Show in the last couple months and was really surprised at how good it is. It's got substance.
Dang, I just canceled Apple TV last month! Guess I’ll have to sign up again when this happens

That's been my experience too - their shows aren't GREAT most of the time, but they've got a solid track record of putting out shows that are PRETTY GOOD.
I always thought of MurderBot as a Brienne or Bobbie Draper sort of physical presence, even if it's actually genderless.
Yeah, Frankie Adams [link] would have been my choice, too.
