Spoiler Alert was a treat, and it's getting a sequel later this year!

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
I finished a Deadly Education. I thought it was fairly good. I liked some parts better than others. I'm always uncomfortable when a white author chooses to PoC as their main character, and some of her other choices didn't make me any more comfortable with it.
I have pre-ordered the sequel! The whole actor who plays Cupid writing AU fic where Cupid is an actor [as if Misha Collins was writing The French Mistake fic] business was just meta-ridic enough to be highly amusing to me
The whole thing seemed very Buffista-oriented - fanfic, cosplay, etc. Looking forward to the sequel - the Cupid actor seemed like a fun character to read about (and I think I got hit with autocorrect ... it was the SmartBitches ... sigh).
I'm so happy to know that I'm not the only person here who liked Spoiler Alert!
I figure I can be upfront with my sometimes trashy reading choices ... but this wasn't trashy and it did seem like something my 'ffistas would enjoy (and, in re autocorrect, to quote a comment I saw, "it's NEVER duck").
Oh, Toddson, that's the Good Place extension that I still have on my browser (and forgot about) changing bitch to bench. I have gotten too used to it!
So with that extension, it IS "duck"?
No, it’s fork
Forking ducks
