I can handle the Oz Full Monty. I mean, not 'handle' handle.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah the descriptions more remind me of the images than are fully evocative. I have been thinking it would be an interesting exercise to listen to this while simultaneously reading the comics.

I somehow didn't realize until just now that it's only through Midsummers Nights Dream. I suppose I should have known from the running time it wasn't complete, but I did assume.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Anyone looking for a medieval gay romance, check out The Scottish Boy by Alex de Campi. It's a good read.

Toddson, thank you for the mention of Dread Nation and Deathless Divide, excellent reads!

Even the people who didn't like it were kind. Which I love. It's got just enough history to be tasty but accuracy? Not what I was looking for.

It had some good cliff hanging chapters which were wrapped up rather quickly. I crowdsourced the ebook but I will buy a copy because I enjoyed it. The author is recording the audio and I hope it turns our good. I will probably try that one, too.

I realized I still haven't named my new Kindle! Previous device names include:

  • Skindleshanks (replaced after water damage)
  • Booky McKindleface (stepped on)
  • Sir Readsalot (cheapo backup Kindle, in a drawer somewhere)

I feel like I pretty much peaked with Skindleshanks and now I'm at a loss.
