I started it last night. I didn't get very far before I was too tired, but so far it really is delightful.
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
I broke my reading block with My Sister the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite, and I highly recommend it. All of the chapters are two to three pages each; so, I found it impossible to put down.
I binged through Emma Newman's Split World series I the last week. It was really well done and creative, and ended better than I feared. Good stuff.
I just put that to next on my Nook list. Looking forward to it.

Oooh, that looks good. Adding it to my list too.

I have to read 23 more books by the end of the year to reach my reading goal. So I see a lot of novellas and graphic novels in my future.
Has anyone tried Joanne Chambers for m/m historical romance in ebook?
I have to read 23 more books by the end of the year to reach my reading goal.
Yeah, I read too many 500+ page novels and kind of blew my goal. No real regrets!
My embarrassment is that I somehow surpassed my goal and read 237 books this year. I kept saying I could tell how depressed I was by how many books I read! I am now trying to read some more challenging material.
shamefaced flyby with waving
I loved 10k Doors of January, I'm struggling with Starless Sea and I think it's because I'm trying to novel and read, and I really liked a book that people are hating (9th House) -- weird.
I miss you all a lot.
