The Chuck, Fran & Kevin show at Borderlands was good times! So good to see hippo and Consuela!
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
The prequel to Practical Magic, The Rules of Magic, was released last week. It is delightful, and I like it better than the original novel. But that's no surprise, because the prequel is all about the Aunts, who are the best characters of the book or movie versions of Practical Magic.

Now that you say that, I wouldn't mind seeing a prequel to Pushing Daisies about the Aunts.
That would make a great YouTube series.
Aunts, I think, are kind of the best. Thank you for the rec, Jilli!
HIPPOCAMPUS YOU COME BACK HERE TO SEATTLE RIGHT NOW. Now? Please?
:: appears as summoned ::
I miss you guys so much.
We went to the Merrimack Valley Halloween book festival today with vw. It was wonderful. vw and I went to a couple panels and I bought a ton of books and found even more authors to look into. Then we went to lunch, vw and family went home, and I waited around for Joe Hill to sign my books. His panel was booked up, but some people didn't show up, so they let me in. I don't know how these things work hippocampus, but I would love it if you were there next year.
Ah SJ that would be so much fun! If invited, I almost always say yes unless I have a prior.
It was lots of fun. I wish there were more opportunities around here to go to things like that. I didn't see any New England events on your events page. Are you coming this way anytime soon?
