It is killing me that school is robbing me of my pleasure reading availability. I'm struggling just to keep up with my school reading. I haven't read either yet but they are definitely on my to-be-read list. I get so excited when I see your success, Sox. I'm so happy for you and one of these days I'll get to read for fun again.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Oh Sophie can you get me a screen grab?
you guys are wonderful. I am in the middle of an out of nowhere panic attack and just -- ughh. But this is lovely to read and is helping.
Sox, done and sent to your profile address. Happy to help!
Sox, I have a copy of Updraft waiting for me to read it
It's really good. I listened to the audiobook and very much enjoyed it.
Sophie, thank you! and Gud, thank you so much for saying that - I hope things are better soon.
I'm reading it soon! So excited!
Would Updraft/Cloudbound be good for a 2nd grader who has read all of Harry Potter? I feel like yes, right?
I can't think of any reason why not.
Me neither, I just feel like I don't actually know about kids!
Yeah, not my area of expertise, either. But I figure anyone who read all of Harry Potter will be up for Updraft. Unless they are hardcore wizard narratives only, I guess.
