Yes! Not, like, oh yes why didn't I see that, but definitely fits.
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
I did not want to drag myself out of bed this morning, but then I remembered I can listen to Cloudbound while I candy bacon and devil eggs. Technology!
Really wanted to Like that post.
Sox. Chapter 18. Wow.
Sox. Chapter 18. Wow.
!!!
(eta to add a favor request for anyone who does do reviews on various places - though I'm fine if you don't -, this would be a great week for it. I *hate* asking this. hate it immensely.)
Going on vacation TODAY and looking forward to starting reading in just a couple hours!
Chapter 18 indeed.
(And I'm not really a reviewery type, but I've just spent the morning talking both Updraft and Cloudbound at coworkers.)
(amych, if that was the facebook convo, I saw!!! thank you!!!)

Sox, I have a copy of Updraft waiting for me to read it, and I will totally review it on Goodreads when I do (where you know, at least 3 people will see it up here in Canada)
BUT I was also quite excited for you when I saw on the "new and hot" front page of the Canadian kobo website this week - Cloudbound is front and centre on the sci-fi and fantasy page! Sadly I am unlikely to get it to this week (what with the needing to read Updraft first)
It is killing me that school is robbing me of my pleasure reading availability. I'm struggling just to keep up with my school reading. I haven't read either yet but they are definitely on my to-be-read list. I get so excited when I see your success, Sox. I'm so happy for you and one of these days I'll get to read for fun again.
