Hugo nominees were announced. With a quick skim, the only idiocy that looks like it's been nominated is one of V-- D--'s blog posts.
I wish. Actually, the entire short story, graphic story, pro artist, fanzine, fancast, and related work sections are RP; also all but one of novella, novelette, fan artist, fan writer, and new writer.
My one consolation is that Naomi, Nora, and Ann all made the final list for novels. Go them! And Nnedi Okorafor was nominated for a novella, which is also great.
I've actually read 3 of the Best Novel nominees which is a first for me! The Fifth Season (took me a bit to get into the world building, but it blew my mind!), Uprooted (loved!) and Seveneves (loved the first half, strongly liked the second half).

Ah, I'm too far out of the loop to have a chance of understanding what this means. Unless, I'm guessing, I spend some quality time in some dark rabbit holes!
So what is, exactly, the goal of RP? It isn't clear to me if they are genuine in their reactionary political stance, or just a massive troll campaign. Like meara, whenever I read their stuff, I cannot really buy that they actually believe that crap.
I know, right? But I think they are genuinely angry. Like Trump supporters.
