Amy:
Here's an excerpt. I am really enjoying it. AND the cover is great too: [link]
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Oh yeah. That looks fun.
I just put that on hold at the library (even though my hold list is comically large -- I have Bossypants waiting for me, because I had never read it, and Charlie Jane Anders' book on the way).
Thanks so much you all! Just returning home. I have a lot of notes to write and hugs to share around (to those who hug, otherwise: friendly smiles)
Sox, I'm so happy for you!
Congratulations, Sox!
Congrats, Sox!
Heh. Anyone who recalls my opinion of Guy Kay will understand why I am linking to this: [link]
Damn, Pat Conroy died: [link] I first read The Prince of Tides in college, and he was my favorite author after that, for a LONG time.
Has anyone else tried the Shadow Unit series? I stumbled across it - the first one was free for Kindle, so I gave it a try. Could barely put it down. It's ... well, there's an obvious similarity to Criminal Minds for some of the characters, but after that it takes off on its own. It's done as kind of episodes with various authors. Seemed like something some of the Buffistas would like.
