You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I was reading a book in which a couple (walk-on characters, basically) had sons named Malcolm and Jayne. ha!

Favorite line from same book, "900 million dollars buys a lot of robotic mice."

Scary like Little Women, yeah.

"But Beth is really sick, and Jo just got there, but I don't think there's anything she can do..."

I'm waiting for payday (Friday), when I will buy it at my local independent store.

This is also my intent.

So proud you found your voice, cousin.

Awww

not your mom's socks.

me telling her not to sing.

always rock out to Bon Jovi in the back seat with headphones on. ALWAYS.

Thanks you guys. I am resisting crawling into Natter and asking people to tell me I have pretty hair but it's a close thing. So many feelings all at once.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Your hair is very pretty, Sox. I saw pictures.

I am currently burning with resentment that I have to WORK instead of finishing reading. Argh!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Raq and I get in tomorrow around 10am - staying at the Westin. I have a signing on Saturday at 10:30 am at the Marriott (during the parade, I think. Someone had to do it :D) and a reading on Sunday at 10 at the Hyatt. Things may add on once I get through registration.

I have a Sunday panel at the Decatur Book Festival on Sunday at 3:45. We leave Monday morning.

San Diego event is Mysterious Galaxy 2pm on 9/19 (there's a facebook event if you want the reminder). I'll be in town for a couple of days before that.
