I have hooked my mom and maybe my dad on LibraryThing. This may involve me scanning their books for them, but ultimately will make it that much easier for me to browse their shelves, so I'm counting it as a win.

I tag all my books to make sure my tagging system is complete and not redundant.

Hi. I've been feeling pouty that the discussion never took off on the LT Buffistas group, and I TOTALLY FORGOT WE HAD A LITERARY THREAD HERE.

This weekend, I build bookshelves and finish unpacking los books! And then upgrade to a paid membership on LT.

I just chortled when I realized there was a WHOLE BAG of unsorted books in the dressing room.

I had the same response when I realized one of the shelves in the living room was actually doublestacked and there was a whole row behind the first that I hadn't gotten to yet.

It's a sickness.

I believe that the curse that causes the downfall of the family is the result of sibling incest. If I'm recalling the Silmarillion correctly. I suppose the Encyclopedia of Arda would help.

Of course, the Silmarillion has been out for 30 years so it can't really be that spoileriffic.
