Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ooooohhhhh! Thanks for pointing that out!

Because books.

Very cool! I read The Blue Girl, and I'd been wanting to read more of his work.

Because books.

Probably. It's lovely, though! A really beautiful depiction of that world!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

That it's not going to be this year isn't really news. I am mildly hopeful for 2016.

Dammit, I just got the Dunk & Eggs stories.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I have a graphic novel adaptation of the first one, and I meant to read the novellas, but...now this will be an easier way to do so!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't regret seeking out the anthologies - I might like the Dunk and Egg stories more than ASoIaF so I might need this illustrated compilation. The last couple of Westeros stories have been pseudo-historical documents that were not so much my cup of tea.
