Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't regret seeking out the anthologies - I might like the Dunk and Egg stories more than ASoIaF so I might need this illustrated compilation. The last couple of Westeros stories have been pseudo-historical documents that were not so much my cup of tea.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

This isn't really about a book but about a bookstore: my favorite bookstore in the whole entire world, Borderlands Books, is closing.

I figured Sox would have a reading there when her book came out. This is so incredibly sad.

Oh, no! I have only been there a few times, but that's sad news. It's a great bookstore.

Aw man, that hurts.

[I'm still coming to SF (probably on my own dime... thank you Southwest miles).]

But that stinks.

I'm still coming to SF
