Thank you all for sharing Library Thing. I've just started, and I've listed a chunk, but I've got a good long way to go. I can't wait to look at everyone else's collections.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
I've got a ton more, but I haven't been doing them in any real sort of order.
OK, this is ridiculous--I've got about 8 shelf-feet of just Nora Roberts paperbacks. How did that happen?!?

You cloned half of mine?
95 so far, with several more boxes to go. (And which shall remain unpacked until I put up the built-in bookshelves. No more double-stacking! For at least a few months!)
[eta - I'm paging through the recommendations, and almost all of them are books I already own but haven't unpacked yet. Heh.]
All done! At least, with the ones I haven't loaned out. 618 books--not too bad, but not too much for the next time I have to move, either!
I've been contemplating maybe going back to a bookstore to work for the Christmas season, but not until next fall (too much going on this year). If I do, then I'll have to watch out for my book-buying, otherwise most of the check will end up with the company instead of paying off my bills.
I pretty much finished this afternoon, topping out at around 500-odd books that aren't cookbooks or kids' books. One thing that this has brought home for me is that I have a whole lotta books that I know I've had within the last couple of years that I can no longer find. Absolam! Absolam!, for instance, which I remember re-reading 3 years ago. Then there's Ulysses, which I had in a lovely large-font version, Lolita, Cryptonomicon, and a handful of others. I should probably make a list, but it might fill me with sour grapes. For all I know, I gave them away instead of permanently loaning them out.

Oh yeah, for sure. But I've also trashed a lot of books in the past few years in dejunking frenzies, so that might be a culprit as well. And I no longer have any real idea what's in the back stack on any shelves that have them.
Still, fun! I've remembered books I haven't thought about in a long time, and seen others on people's lists that had me scurrying over to Amazon.
After today's big push, though, I think I'll just be adding sporadically.
ETA - which reminds me, Kushiel's Dart is in my latest go pile. Anyone wants, just e me. (I just could never get into it, and I'm really trying to keep only books I either have some affection or interest in, or that I'm really seriously planning on getting around to someday. That's a big enough number as it is without hanging on to things that never did grab me.)
I've got to go through the writing shelf and remind myself which ones I still have versus the ones I had and got rid of.
I have 28 Roger Zelazny books! Gosh! And off to join the Buffistas group.
I've just been going through my list and adding all the correct cover icons that are available. I might go ahead and hook up my scanner tomorrow and add icons for those that don't have them yet (a lot of my more obscure romances, mostly).
