Wait-- somehow Lestat and Mona are in the same book?
Yes, at the end of Blackwood Farm. Because Tarquin Blackwood, fledgeling vampire, was in LOVE with Mona, and Lestat had kind of adopted Tarquin and ...
Yeah. It's all a cracky mess. I know that Blood Canticle is one of the books that infuriated Anne Rice's fans, I agree that there was no need to bring the worlds of the Mayfair Witches and the vampires together, and I hated Memnoch the Devil. But I'm reading Blood Canticle because I want to be able to say that I HAVE read all of the Vampire Chronicles, and because when all is said and done, Lestat is still my vampire idol. I just prefer him when he's not having Deep Thoughts about religion, and is instead the dashing fiend in the velvet frock coat.
I've been skimming. Has anyone told Jilli about this?
Yessssss. I just can't justify buying another purse. But oh, how I want that Dracula one.
I still really want the Jane Eyre one, even though it is in no way practical for me as a purse. I carry too much stuff to fit in it, and I can't carry a purse that doesn't have a cross body strap when I am using my crutches.
By the way, I bought the Alice in Wonderland one for my SIL last year and it was really well done.
Gigi Garner(Jim's daughter) is a Buffista spirit baby. She told some old guy that wrote a bad review of her dad's book to quit picking on her father, and learn to type and spell.
I was tickled.
I finished the third Sandman Slim book yesterday and then started reading Something Wicked This Way Comes which I have been meaning to read some October for several years now but somehow keep not doing it. So far, I love it!
Oooh! Thanks for reminding me of SWTWC. I know what I'll be reading next...
Yes, all of you read SWTWC. Go, do it now.

Why didn't I take this advice sooner? I really haven't read much Bradbury other than Fahrenheit 451 and some short stories, which is odd because I have really enjoyed what I have read by him.
