Heh, I actually read it just a few weeks ago (been slowly making my way through a Bradbury collection ever since he died), but I thought it was more funny than creepy. The premise is unsettling, but I couldn't get past the fact that the mother thought her baby was evil
because he didn't sleep at night.

Oh, no. Not in the slightest. But it is my all-time favorite Bradbury story. I have the stand-alone short book for it that was illustrated by Dave McKean, and it's lovely.
(Huh. I wonder if I could convince Pete to illustrate a version JUST FOR ME.)
