Warning: Homecoming is not a horror story. It always gives me a case of the sniffles. Damn allergies. A warm and loving family shows acceptance of the family oddball. Gee, can't think of why that would get to me.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Warning: Homecoming is not a horror story.
Oh, no. Not in the slightest. But it is my all-time favorite Bradbury story. I have the stand-alone short book for it that was illustrated by Dave McKean, and it's lovely.
(Huh. I wonder if I could convince Pete to illustrate a version JUST FOR ME.)
I love it too. Just wanted to warn people that it can give a case of the sniffles.
Excellent news regarding Terry Pratchett. Excellent on a number of fronts, especially the post script.
Now excuse me, I must go squeeflail all over the place...
Ooooooooooooooh.
That is truly excellent news.
Yay, indeed!
Let the casting speculation begin.

Colin Firth's unabridged reading of Graham Greene's The End of the Affair. Depressing as all hell, but it must sound utterly gorgeous.
My super-cheap refurbished Kindle ($48! Whatta steal) just arrived last Friday and I already bought like 6 books. I buy from Amazon as a rule anyway and it's just so easy to click on that one-click button. Presto, instant gratification! I am gonna have to work on exercising some restraint, I see. Why have't I gotten it ages ago???
