I think I can loan it if you have a Kindle, although I've never tried it before. It's incredible and heartbreaking and perfect. I want to read every book listed in her research bibliography now.

Code Name Verity is so fantastic I can't believe it. It really makes me want to read her other stuff.
Her other stuff is very much fantasy, though, and what I loved about this book was its truth, no pun intended. It was gritty and painful and beautiful at the same time, and I adored the characters. Like, adore as in, I might consider a tattoo that says, " Fly the plane, Maddie. ", for real.

For anyone not yet in possession of an e-reader...
I'm currently being very tempted by a deal-of-the-day for a $40 (plus $5 shipping) re-furbed Kindle.
I already have a Kobo (Borders' ereader before they went belly-up), but I'm tempted (or looking for an excuse) to do compare and contrast.
