I read the kindle sample of Discovery, but I hated the characters so I never purchased it.
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
My to-read list is so absurd at this point, it's hard to figure out what to read when. I still have to read Code Name Verity for book club on Sunday, and I haven't even started the Montmaray book or finished The Night Circus.
I have started several books over the last week, but I haven't stuck with anything. Maybe I'll read Night Circus.
Based on the monkey see blog over at NPR, I read Pammy's book and the new Jennifer Weiner book last week. They were fun.
My next book is either the new Tana French or Laura Moriaty's book The Chaperone.
Pammy?
I've never been able to read more than Jennifer Weiner's first book. And they seem like the kind of books I would love! But I just don't click with her.
I've also been in a weird mood. After Duma Key, which was fantastic, I was tempted to stick with King for the rest of the summer. There are a bunch I haven't read.
I listen to a lot of Jennifer Weiner on CD. Unfortunately, they are usually abridged. They're really not what I usually read, but they are fun to listen to. I am usually looking for something different from an audio book than from a book I want to sit down and read, if that makes any sense.
Pamie. She's a TWOPper.
I mean, not that that's all she is -- tv writer, novelist, etc., but that's why people might be on a first-name basis with her.
It sounds vaguely familiar now that I look.
