Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Our wings are not tired.

I am pretty sure it's the book I mentioned. I remember the interview.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yup, that's the one! Thank you! It was on Diane Rhem. [link]

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

My niece liked A Brief History of Montmaray, although she didn't love it. I'm just pleased because she's not so much a historical fiction person.

I'm sad that I"m surprised a city decided to use it for public good.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

My darling Buffistas! I'm crawling out of the darkness imposed by work (eating me from top, bottom, middle)! SO glad to be back and see your pixels!

I finished Deadline and read Laurie R. King's The Pirate King, which was very entertaining. And, in it, Mary Russell's bag with necessities includes a toothbrush, clean socks, reading material, and a loaded revolver. All except the last sound very Buffista-ish to me.
