Yeah, that one was intense, but there's way more to come. People in these books die in all sorts of interesting ways. (I'm about a quarter of the way through A Dance With Dragons now.)
'Shells'
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
People in these books die in all sorts of interesting ways.
I wasn't prepared for that. I figured it was a stabbing here, a beheading there, maybe someone gets pushed off a cliff or eaten by a dragon once in a while.
It does look like I'm in the Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies section of the book. A minor character kicked it recently, and another major character is on his way out.
I wasn't prepared for that. I figured it was a stabbing here, a beheading there, maybe someone gets pushed off a cliff or eaten by a dragon once in a while.
Heh. Nobody dies in these books in a way that isn't worth writing about.
I wasn't prepared for that. I figured it was a stabbing here, a beheading there, maybe someone gets pushed off a cliff or eaten by a dragon once in a while.
Although, I think that all of those do happen at some point.
Ha! I knew there had to be dragons at some point!! You can't just say they're all dead; that's too much of a tease.
Just you wait.
Just you wait.
Thank you for the My Fair Lady earworm.
Ahahaha! Tim is now 7 chapters into the 5th Skulduggery Pleasant book.
SO MUCH WIN.
I didn't even have to offer him sex to get him to read it.
And now he's like, "I get why everyone thinks the Necromancers are such dicks. BECAUSE THEY ARE." And I'm like, "You have NO IDEA."
I got a little further into Dance with Dragons. And, whoa, the Bastard of Bolton is a complete psycho.
Curses! I accidentally got the 5th Parasol Protectorate from the library before the 4th. It's just sitting there, taunting me.
