My burning question is: Clones? Really?
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Reading the new short is on my list.
I'm popping in here to say that I was blown away by how gracefully (in public at least) Mary Robinette Kowal is handling the printer's error on the book that came out today. The first sentence is missing, although it was there in the ARC.
I saw that, Sox! How outrageous!
Ha! Just wait till you read Blackout, Ginger.
I'm looking forward to your interview, Erin! Ask awesome stuff she's never been asked before!
Sox, the Twitter meme is hilarious. I've been having fun with it on Facebook. And, yeah, I agree she's handling it really well.
Just wait till you read Blackout, Ginger.
I am waiting. And waiting.
t makes rude noises at P-C
The wait is almost over!
Man, I really hope Blackout makes the NYT list. I've thought from the beginning that the books had the potential to be a breakout mainstream success, so I'm hoping the Hugo nominations will help.
P-C, you are EVIL. I'd cut a bitch for an ARC, but Seanan said they don't do ARC's for series.
I have Cabin in the Woods and Avengers to get me through till June.
Ask awesome stuff she's never been asked before!
No pressure, huh?! I read the shorts you linked to; they were really fun, and I'm reading the Shadow Hill Road stories now and taking notes. /geek
P-C, you are EVIL.
I don't mean to be! I'm just saying, Ginger's whitefont will be answered.

Really? Huh. I could swear she has Toby ARCs all the time. There are giveaways and stuff. Maybe Orbit has different policies than DAW.

Hee. I haven't even read the Sparrow Hill Road stories, although I ought to, since I've heard about Rose Marshall in her songs. I haven't read the Velveteen stories either. I keep meaning to, but it looks like they might be published at the end of the year, so I guess I'll wait till then.
I think all your research will result in an excellent interview!
a re-read of "The Hot Zone"
It's been quite a while, but my memory of The Hot Zone is mostly one of irritation. I thought it was poorly written.
Have you read The Coming Plague? I remember it as being much more readable, and more informative.
I think The Coming Plague is the best "we're all going to die" nonfiction book ever. I wish she'd do an update.
