... but I have to gloat, just a little bit. I've been emailing Gail Carriger about some other stuff, so I did get to squee at her about one particular thing in the book. She said she was particularly proud of that part.
FYI - I just got an email from Amazon to say that the new Naomi Novik book is out.
I am in the midst of Timeless. I have reached the part where they are sailing to Egypt.

I actually say "good gravy" in real life. I have a lot of odd slang and turns of phrases embedded in my every day speech. Hell, I even exclaim in Yiddish sometimes.
I say "holy moly" a lot, but "good gravy" is way cooler.
