I was in the bookstore the other day and noticed that the paperback of Bujold's Cryoburn was out; do you suppose there's a chance that there's going to be a new book of hers on the shelves soon? (I hope!)
I'll be in B&N later today or tomorrow--I'll face out Cold Kiss if it's not, and to chatter about it with any handy staff. What? I can do artless soft-sell! If I'm really on the ball I'll remember to take a picture of it on the shelf.

Everyone tell the dread spirits of eBay to be nice to me: I'm the current high bidder on a signed 1st edition hardback of The Vampire Lestat. It's not in pristine condition - there's a stain on the bottom edge of the book. But still! Signed! First edition! Oooh, I hope I win.
