"Definitely not Mr. Darcy"
That actually sounds interesting, because god knows reality shows need ripping on.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

I'm reading the latest Harry Dresden, "Ghost Story". I've already cheated a little by reading the last page--I have suspense issues re: who lives and who dies--but it didn't answer the major question of what I think is going on. (Considering the last book ended with Harry being shot in the chest and being knocked into the lake with no one to help, and this one is called Ghost Story, Harry's current condition shouldn't be too much of a guess)
So, I read Hunger Games the first all in one sitting last night. And as I suspected, should have waited until I had all three from the library before I started book one.
Secondly, I just had a new subscriber to my ministry mailing list whose address is edward.xoxo. That bit of data is going to get out and infect my whole database, isn't it?
Liese,
the 3rd book continues right after the 2nd (not unlike the Girl With Dragon Tattoo series), so if you needed a break between books, now is the time to take it. The 2nd and 3rd should be read together, IMO.
Yeah, I got to the end of the second book and was like YOU GUYS HAD TO WAIT A YEAR AFTER THIS??
A sequel to The Shining! I had no idea.
HOLY SHIT WHAT.
Although I don't know about that. The Shining was all about the Overlook.
The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror has forever made me hear that in my head as "The Shinning," in Groundskeeper Willie's voice.
The 2nd and 3rd should be read together, IMO.
Good to know!
I got a collection of short stories - urban fantasy - and the first story is a Harry Dresden where he investigates the cause and continuation of The Billy Goat Curse.
