Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
And, my SIL's main Christmas present has now been purchased (she's a huge Alice fan). Thanks Jilli!
Hee! You're welcome. I'm trying to convince myself that I do. not. NEED another purse, but the Dracula one is very nifty.
I believe you were also the one who linked to the Etsy Alice necklace I bought her two years ago.
That sounds like something I'd link to, yeah.
Braggity brag, I love my awesome mom:
She just reviewed a fantastic nonfiction book, The Philosophical Breakfast Club (about Babbage and his three best friends), and the author loved her review right back.
How cool!
Good for them.

Come on in, the water's fine!
I seem to always be leaving my own reading to the end of the month, but this month I'm bound and determined to finish Brighton Rock long before that.
Does anyone have a graphic novel recommendation for an 8 year old who really loved the Bone series?
Bone has a couple of spin-offs, Rose and Stupid Stupid Rat Tales, if you missed them.
The other obvious choices are Tintin and Asterix.
