Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

A lot of people I know really want Malese Jow for Katniss, who is definitely not olive skinned, but is really fantastic. I think she is half Chinese, half Native American. She's also a singer, if I recall, which would work well for Katniss.

I think it's an unpopular opinion in Hunger Games fandom, but I would love Lucas Till as Peeta.

At the end of the day, though, I hope they cast really fantastic people I have never heard of.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Lucas Till looks more like a Finnick to me. I can't shake Jesse Plemons as Peeta. He looks exactly like I pictured the character in my head.

Jesse Plemmons? seriously? can't see that...at all. i imagined him more as William Moseley. you know...the oldest kid from the Narnia movies.

Too angular. I feel like Peeta needs to be a little soft around the edges.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Soft, yes. But still...pretty.

what erin said. as much as i enjoyed Jesse on FNL, he's not exactly...pretty.

i'm still not sure why people think he should be pudgy. are all bakers and their sons pudgy? no...especially not when they're basically living in a poverty ridden environment.

Yeah. The kid who plays Luke Cafferty on FNL might do, but not Jesse Plemons.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I've been wondering who to cast as Coin and Snow. For Snow, I keep picturing someone like Sam Anderson (Holland Manners from AtS). Coin, I'm not sure. I've got a good mental picture of her in my head, but I can't match it up with an actress.

I saw Snow as Michael Emerson while reading. he does creepy too well. Coin? i'm not sure either, but like you i have a pretty clear picture of her in my head.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think Glenn Close would be a terrifying Coin.
