They make it painfully difficult, don't they?
I'm on a lot of waiting lists for books there. They have some stuff I'm excited about. And yes, the resource restriction blows.
BUT it means I don't have to go to a branch to get books and I like that. And free.

I want the young actress in "True Grit" to play Katniss .
I'm still rooting for Kaya but I wouldn't cry if they cast Hailee.
I've heard Kaya but I haven't seen her? What is she in? I saw "True Grit" last night and was blown away by how good Hailee was without her reduced to cute. And none of us wants Katniss to be cute! Plus, she's young enough to play the entire trilogy without getting too old.
Kaya is very cute but in an underfed sort of way and I think she also looks kind of deadly. I know her from the BBC show Skins where she plays Effie.
Thanks! She looks the part too. Interesting that I was reading sone blogs last night; apparently many readers took her to be Hispanic due to the "long dark hair" and olive skin.
A lot of people I know really want Malese Jow for Katniss, who is definitely not olive skinned, but is really fantastic. I think she is half Chinese, half Native American. She's also a singer, if I recall, which would work well for Katniss.
I think it's an unpopular opinion in Hunger Games fandom, but I would love Lucas Till as Peeta.
At the end of the day, though, I hope they cast really fantastic people I have never heard of.
Lucas Till looks more like a Finnick to me. I can't shake Jesse Plemons as Peeta. He looks exactly like I pictured the character in my head.
