Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

If I'm in the US, it means pages flipped on my phone get flipped on the Nook, which is cool. But it is a subtraction in foreign.

ita, would bookmarking work in that case?

I keep going back on forth on which I'd like better,

I still like the nook because of the library book feature. I get new books without having to buy them.

Ooh! guys, Greg won a Nook by signing up for Douglas Clegg's newsletter. That contest ended in December, and now he's running another one. You can choose a Kindle or a Nook. The contest ends in, I think, March. [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If I remembered. It was nifty not having to know. I seem to be fine as long as I'm in the US and have connectivity, but otherwise I can't just shut down and move onto the next thing.

OMG, my Nook has shelves! I did not know that. I don't have enough purchased books to need to organise, but my free stuff really needs categorising.

I have really done very little with it, other than just buy and read. I'm ashamed of myself.

OMG me too. Because before I figured that out, I was all "I need organization! I can't just have a LONG LIST of books, I'm just archiving everything I've already read!"

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

The shelves are awesome. But I need subshelves! There's a shelf for the SO and a shelf for me. But then, he put stuff on his shelf that I will have on mine too. So now the main page just has all the same stuff, but twice. I need to do some reorging. I've barely bought anything, it's all free stuff right now. And I need to get reading.

AND I ordered this great deal, 15 piece Nook accessory kit for like 3 bucks, and I broke my Amazon boycott to do it. And the originating company had overcommitted. So instead of backordering, or letting us know, or something, they just cancelled a bunch of orders. Including mine.

So now I still want to order an accessory pack, with like, screen protectors and a car charger and stuff, but it'll cost me 20 bucks instead of 3, and it won't get here before the trip. Blah.
