P-C, I JUST got there! I took it to read during Sara's swimming lesson, and once again was almost in tears right there on the pool desk with the reveal of
the transforming wedding dress and Peeta ad libbing Kat's pregnancy
.
These books are going to kill me.
These books are going to kill me.
Most likely, yes
Over and over and over. And then again.
Jesus Christ, the
Gamemakers are
sadistic bastards.
OMG THE FOG.
And what the fuck
THE CRAZY MONKEYS.
I love that the
arena is a clock, though.
And as soon as
Katniss figured it out, THEY SPUN IT AROUND BECAUSE THEY'RE DICKS.
I am interested in the fact that
everyone is trying to save Peeta.
I was a little annoyed that
the rebellion narrative was derailed by the Games, but I like that it's really continuing and making these Games a different sort of experience.
Except I have no idea how it's going to end up this time. Is
ita's boring, inconsequential Finnick going to survive too? Will Peeta? Will...Katniss?
I mean, I wouldn't put it past Collins to
kill off Katniss and have the third book narrated by Peeta,
but I figure I would have heard about something that big. I'm about forty pages from the end and will finish the book today. Last night I left off with Katniss hearing
the familiar screaming of...Prim.
WHAT. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET ANY WORK DONE TODAY. I HATE YOU SUZANNE COLLINS.
HAHAHAHAHA. mine is an evil laugh.
My dream: to one day inspire that kind of impassioned reaction.
I won't, however, be holding my breath.
t /moment of ego
I figure I would have heard about something that big
But this way is so much more fun, with the not knowing, and the glayvin.
Crap, I think P-C is about 20 pages ahead of me now. Must catch up!

All you have to do is write a book series about a boy wizard living in a dystopian society who is chosen to participate in a televised deathmatch against vampires and werewolves, possibly also zombies. And he falls in tragic love with a vampire, werewolf, or possibly zombie.

Oh, I completely agree.
Crap, I think P-C is about 20 pages ahead of me now. Must catch up!
Hurry up, Amy! I'm going to finish today so I can start
Mockingjay
tomorrow while my car gets an oil change.

But do they have to sparkle?
Also? I'm doomed.
