Harmony: Somebody remembered to pick me up the sweetest unicorn. Guess someone was feeling guilty for standing me up in tenth grade. Brad: What? Had to get her something. She sired me. Peaches: Sire-whipped.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

possibly! when they de-aged him for scenes in Lost, i was pretty impressed. i think he could pull off younger than he is. plus, like someone else said, 41 years old from District 12 wouldn't necessarily look like our version of a 41 year old.

Yes, with District 12 and years of hard drinking, I expect him to look years older than what I would think of as 41.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Mark reading the Hunger Games is almost as un-put-down-able as the actual books. I just got to his reading of the end of part 1 and had tears in my eyes again.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

CINNA IS THE BEST.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

CINNA IS THE BEST.

HE REALLY IS. I felt the whole time reading that were I to somehow end up living in the Capitol (not that I would EVER want to, the whole world in those books is just horrifying) that Cinna and I would be the very best of friends. He's awesome.

I am really hearting him for that. And I am very intrigued by the vocal, if sometimes subtle, rebellion, by all the victors. Until the interviews, it wasn't really clear they felt that way, but, man, they're ALL pretty pissed that they've been called back into the ring to die (and I wonder how many suspect that the Seventy-Fifth Annual Hunger Games are really the most elaborate assassination attempt since the Triwizard Tournament). WHAT IF THEY ALL JUST REFUSE TO KILL EACH OTHER??? How badass would it be if they all teamed up to take on the Capitol? Yeeeeah, maybe throwing together the best and strongest proven killers from your country wasn't the brightest idea, huh?

I don't want to do anything else but finish Catching Fire. GODDAMMIT. I am so worried for everyone. The arena is WATER?? Do they just want everyone to drown? WTF.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

it's almost as fun to read your reaction as it is to read it for the first time, P-C.

Personally, I'm surprised that the Gamemakers didn't rig Katniss's platform to "accidentally" blow up.

Because books.

P-C, I JUST got there! I took it to read during Sara's swimming lesson, and once again was almost in tears right there on the pool desk with the reveal of the transforming wedding dress and Peeta ad libbing Kat's pregnancy .

These books are going to kill me.
