Everybody plays each other. That's all anybody ever does. We play parts.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I still think Terry O'Quinn would make a fabulous Haymitch.

as for Peeta, i imagined the oldest brother from the Narnia movies.

Katniss is totally Lyndsy Fonseca.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

I'm right there with you on Lyndsy Fonseca, tiggy! She looks really similar to how I pictured her when I first read the books, and Nikita has proven she can be badass!

I'm really worried about the casting. That could really make or break the movie.

RDJ for Haymitch seems too... in shape.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Oh. Holy cow. WAY better than W.C. Fields! But too old, from the sounds of it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I still want Hugh Laurie as Haymitch.

Because books.

Oh god, that's a cool idea. Although I do think tiggy has a good idea with Terry O'Quinn. I don't think he necessarily looks as old as he is.

I can't take credit for the idea. I read it somewhere, maybe EW.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I still want Hugh Laurie as Haymitch

This is who I have in my head. Less corpulent, but kind of dissolute and broken and bitter. Laurie a la House.

I really wanted Haymitch in the Quarter Quell and was wee bit disappointed it was Peeta again.

exactly!! i think Kaya is way to waif-like. plus, i don't think she's that great of an actress.

Oh. Holy cow. WAY better than W.C. Fields! But too old, from the sounds of it.

possibly! when they de-aged him for scenes in Lost, i was pretty impressed. i think he could pull off younger than he is. plus, like someone else said, 41 years old from District 12 wouldn't necessarily look like our version of a 41 year old.

Yes, with District 12 and years of hard drinking, I expect him to look years older than what I would think of as 41.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Mark reading the Hunger Games is almost as un-put-down-able as the actual books. I just got to his reading of the end of part 1 and had tears in my eyes again.
