Yeah who is that Katniss girl? She sure looks the part but I can't place the actress. If I didn't recognize the footage from the movie where they all live underground (and know in advance that was a fan trailer) I might have been fooled. Brilliant bit with the wolf there at the end.
'Shindig'
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
isn't it awesome? some vidders should really be hired by studios to make trailers and promos.
the girl in the vid playing Katniss was in a UK show called Skins(which has now been snagged by MTV and they will be airing a US version soon). her name is Kaya Scodelario.
a UK show called Skins
oh duh! Yes, she would be a great Katniss.
Oh, yeah, I knew I'd seen her. I've never seen Skins but I have a number of friends who rave about it.
I am only a little embarrassed that I recognize Lucas Till, the boy playing Peeta, from the Hannah Montana Movie. I mean, not that I've seen that. Of course not.
He sure looks like Peeta does in my head. Of all the actresses wikipedia says have expressed an interest in playing Katniss, Kaya is definitely my favorite, but she's the only one I've seen act.
I don't know if this is a question for here or Technology, but which e-readers, if any, let you check books out from the library?
And which ones have borrow/lend/trade options?
If you want to do both, I think the Nook is it. The Sony and Kobo readers should let you check out books (they support Adobe DRM), but unless you want some specialized features of the Sony ones I think the Nook is clearly the best choice.
And the Kindle has announced that the lending feature will be available "soon".
It would be nice if the Kindle supported Adobe Digital Editions. I suppose that would open up the ability to buy books from other places, but I'd bet that would lose them hardly any business.

Was that lending between Kindles or lending from the library or both?
