I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

To everyone who has a day off, I hope it's a grand one. I'm definitely not jealous, no sir-ree.

I am sorry I missed Spidra's performance, but we went to a seder at a friend's house, and ate well.

I want a Roomba. And a Laundryba. And a Dishesba.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I have a CleaningLadyba, but she's not all that.

Also, I have the day off. But that's 'cause it's the first day of the weekend here. But it's a 3 Day weekend, which is nice.

My flatmate has gone to England for a fortnight.

...I miss her. Indeed, I feel slightly bereft. I'm afraid I may actually pine when we go our seperate ways. Mostly I'm not so much with the pining, but we are practically married. Seriously. 2 years cohabiting, socialising together pretty much constantly, working together...we've had only 2 rows, as such, in 3 years of friendship, and our former employer thought we were Big Gay Lesbian Type lovers and proclaimed it to the whole school (because he has great social skills).

I'm just realising that this really is going to feel like a breakup. Shit. I'm out of the habit of being single, and I don't think I'd even realised it until just now. We're slashier than John and Rodney. We even have a shared cat - I mean, he's technically mine, but she's better with him, and he loves her best.

Well, crap.

I'm really going to fucking miss her.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm going to be grayish until Monday, because I'm off to Nashville for Easter. I may check in some, just to have contact with sane people.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's lovely, Fay. Sad, of course, that you are missing her and will miss her when you go off to Thailand and she, I guess, doesn't, but what a wonderfully close friendship.

I am curled up with my Bitch blanket AIFG. I can't keep it up, though. I have 6 weeks to getmy house ready for MiL habitation, I need to get cracking.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I haven't sent my Bitch Blanket yet. I suck.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Sad thing? I finshed mine in DECEMBER.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

To everyone who has a day off, I hope it's a grand one. I'm definitely not jealous, no sir-ree.

I am Sparky. At least today is Free Pizza Day.

I'm really going to fucking miss her.

Oh, Fay. That is really sweet and sad all at the same time.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Morning Gronklies, All.

Am lame. Have no meara.

Belated Happy Birthday to Lovely Lillibean!

Um, all I can think of.

So exhausted. Two weekends of RenFaire = Fun. But two weekends of not getting any sleep and not getting any weekend chores done = taxing. I keep telling people how much I'm looking forward to tomorrow. They ask "Why? What's tomorrow?" And I say "Nothing! That's the point." No appointments, nowhere I need to be...ah, sweet, sweet sleeping in.

That's just how I feel, Epic. Plus, I'm girding my loins for the next two weeks at work, where I know I'm going to be putting in 50 hour weeks and Saturdays, to boot. We finally got a new temp, but it's a drop in the bucket compared to the fact we do most of our business in the summer, so April is when the big push to up the stocking levels occurs. Ugh. At least the "we must finalize the budget" hiring freeze is over, so I'm hoping to get at least one more assembler and a test tech hired before the F2F in May.
