Talked to therapist this morning. She agrees the Wallybee sounds just lovely, and thinks we're on a good footing.
Ran D&D games for the rest of the day. Had some very enjoyable sessions. This is of the good.
Have ordered a wedding pressie for Bec and Scott. With a little luck (thanks to the time difference and you guys not getting Easter Friday and Easter Monday off), they'll get it before the wedding.
The Wallybee is calling me a pest and threatening to withhold smooches. As if she could resist!
Today: big tick!
I have the day off. DAY OFF!!!!
Right now I should by rights be most of the way through the second class of the day. Instead, I am lounging in my pajamas finishing my first cup of coffee. ROCK!
yay for day off! you deserve it!
I hope to god that's not a
House
reference, bt.
Yay, Emily!
billytea, do we get to know what the present is? Does Bec lurk? Would it spoil the surprise?
Oooh, coffee! That's what I don't have yet. Soooo nice to sleep in on a Friday and slounge around. Particularly since it's still gray and threatening to rain here. I'm in my jammies with my oh-so-comfy Bitch blanket, AIFG!!! Emily and I rock!
However, if I want coffee, I'm really going to have to get up and do something about that. Darn.
I caught up with an old friend from college last night. Her husband is now the lead urban planner for Lower Manhattan. They found an apartment in Tribeca (I tremble at the thought of the rent they're paying) and she's working on selling their house in D.C. I'm completely excited for them and REALLY want to visit them in NYC--sadly this won't be happening soon.
Then there was a 2 a.m. wake up call from Mr. Snottie Nose due to the freak-ass thunderstorms we had last night and he and I spent a few hours in the guest bed. The girl is gunning for three straight nights of solid 8 hour sleeping.
Aw, Suzi, you need to convince your company to give everyone Good Friday off. We only started getting it 3 or 4 years ago and I'm entirely convinced it was due to the efforts of our FAC contingent at work. Enough of them work in HR that they managed to push it through.
