Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Is it supposed to be possible to get Seasonal Affective Disorder in spring?

With the Spring we've had, I wouldn't be surprised.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's what I was thinking, Juliana.

Hey, what are you up to this weekend? Feel like coming to the boonies?

Hey, what are you up to this weekend?

About 5'7", 5'10" if I'm out and about....

Oh!

Feel like coming to the boonies?

I would love to, but I'm volunteering at the 1906 Great Earthquake & Fire Expo. I get to ogle hottie firemen and gain points at work, all at the same time.

Should we look at next weekend?

Next weekend is good.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Pfft. No one is beholding my new camera. Has no one considered that this brings me one step closer to actual photos of the Wallybee?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Perkins, yes. I'm not sure if it is officially SAD, but I've had two therapists comment on Spring being prime seasonal depression time, despite the lack of publicity. It may, just possibly be a factor in how I've been feeling lately.

Little less talk, little more action, there, bt.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

What Andi said.

Soooo... I need fireplace tools. Especially as jabbing with a clicky lighter is obviously a bad idea given that it is inherently flammable. But I didn't need to be shown the Nightmare Before Christmas fireplace tools. [link]

Why are fireplace tools a seasonal item in Portland? I want a scoopy thing to remove ashes and a pokey thing to poke things about.

Hey, the camera is actually purchased, and the weekend in the Dandenongs is actually booked. Motive has been joined by means and opportunity. Come the Festival of Ishtar, the pictures shall be mine!

You'd be amazed how many animals adopt a similar philosophy come mating season.
