We pay a whole 'nother property tax (also higher than the surrounding areas) but since it's figured into an escrow account with our mortgage provider, it's a little bit less painful because I don't think about it and don't have to write a yearly check.We escrow ours with our bank that holds our mortgage, too. It's pretty high though, so I still think about it every month.
I'm sitting here smelling my hands. I bought a large pack of maple flavored bacon today and had to split it up to freeze some of it. Now my hands smell like maple and bacon. Mmmmmm.

Not me. I'm a bacon-lovin' fiend, although I remain a devout vegetarian. Bacon is the only meat I truly miss. Perkins, however, has some serious bacon issues. I worry about her. Maybe we should take up a collection.
