Spidra and vw, I feel your pain. We're living with my father-in-law and brother-in-law, and it's not easy. Actually, it sucks. Having your own space is so important, and it sucks when that gets trampled on.
'Dirty Girls'
Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Much ~ma to everyone with difficult living situations.
I was just doing dishes. I set aside the dishes Not!Emily left in the sink, and worked around them. He noticed that when he went to leave, gave me a dirty look, and slammed the door on his way out.
Mature, huh?
My brother-in-law (who admittedly has some paranoid issues) refuses to wash knives. Every morning, there will be at least two or three knives left on the counter, not even in the sink. (He makes his *dinner* at about 11 p.m. most nights.) Strange and highly annoying.
Mature, huh?
Oh yeah.
Ugh. I just spent an hour downloading a tv show I missed last night, and there's only sound, no picture! Fix it! Fix it!
Also, me WANT this apartment: [link]
So pretty, vw! And it seems like a steal, too, for three bedrooms.
(I always judge based on NYC apartment prices, though.)
Yeah, it's not too bad. About $100 more than we want to pay, but...it's also got everything I want :).
vw, isn't that on the other side of Boston? Is Emily still going to be working at the school where she's working this year? I just ask, because I imagine the commute would sort of unfun.
That is a very pretty apartment.
