My brother-in-law (who admittedly has some paranoid issues) refuses to wash knives. Every morning, there will be at least two or three knives left on the counter, not even in the sink. (He makes his *dinner* at about 11 p.m. most nights.) Strange and highly annoying.
Mature, huh?
Oh yeah.
Ugh. I just spent an hour downloading a tv show I missed last night, and there's only sound, no picture! Fix it! Fix it!
Also, me WANT this apartment: [link]
So pretty, vw! And it seems like a steal, too, for three bedrooms.
(I always judge based on NYC apartment prices, though.)
Yeah, it's not too bad. About $100 more than we want to pay, but...it's also got everything I want :).
vw, isn't that on the other side of Boston? Is Emily still going to be working at the school where she's working this year? I just ask, because I imagine the commute would sort of unfun.
That is a very pretty apartment.
Yeah, it is on the other side of Boston. And who knows where Emily will be working...which is one of the reasons I'm not actively looking right now. Just fun looking...

Oh. It is gorgeous. I haven't looked at rentals in so long, I nearly died at the price. I take it that's reasonable, these days?
Sometimes I do real estate browsing just for fun. Sometimes I do it, and it becomes a form of torture, and I hear Anya in my head, going on about pretty things I can't have.
Grump. I totally was not in the loop for registering for classes last week, I found out about it when I got to campus on Monday, and I haven't had the time or energy to contact my advisor till today. I found a class I should take, and got her OK for it and now the system won't let me register it because I need dept. permission. WTF? I'm a grad student. Gimme!
Anyway, I'm just anxious because I'd like to take a class from this teacher, and am paranoid that 1 week after registration opened, the class is filled up. I do have a plan B though. Also, my advisor is kind of... brusque and scary.
