Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Betsy and laura - so sorry. Sometimes I think it is harder to understand how incorrect something looks when you know your intentions weren't bad.

Happy birthday Owen!

I turn 43 next Tuesday. I was at TJ's where I bought some wine and rum. I was carded.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Our wings are not tired.

So this parenting stuff gets harder?

Yeah, and easier. No more having to dress them or bathe them, although they need reminding. I'm actually more comfortable with the parenting of older children. I like being able to talk to them. It is nice to see them turning into little adult like people. It is more frustrating trying to make them understand how the world works than trying to make them understand how the potty works. And yet it is a relief for me to not be needed for every little thing all the time. Like they can cook now. Whee!

I was carded.

Woo Hoo! I don't think this has happened since I was 40. But it sure was fun when it did.

move out and draw fire

(Raq, you were in AcaDeca?)

Um, no. We didn't have things like that at my high skool. We didn't even have AP courses. (I was on our Science Bowl team tho!) And I boycotted Honor Society since I couldn't afford the dues.

I'm not sure I was picked last for football either, although definitely last for basketball.

beth, hee for being carded!

What is even happening?

It's that way here in Boston, except closer to 55 than 70. Still, compared to April a year ago, hell yeah!

Frank, my (old as the hills thermometer) is reading 68, about 10-15 miles north. I'd say it's probably not off by more than 5 degrees. Boston proper might be colder though, because of the ocean.

Coding and Sleeping

I've been thinking about taking my daughter to a baseball game at some point. The big concern (other than the marriage issues this might bring up) is what to do when she needs to use the bathroom. She'd be six or seven depending on when it would work out. I'm not real comfortable with either waiting outside the woman's restroom in a stadium setting, but I'm not real sure about taking her into the men's restroom either.

It's up to 60 now. However, it's also gotten cloudy.

Easier the other way around for sure. Women take little boys in the restroom all the time. t not helpful
