Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I feel so lame ass that I'm sad about him being gone

Hey, you're the sentimental type. Embrace it. You probably can't make yourself less sad without making yourself more tense. That's not a win.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Happy Birthday, Owen!

There's no question that carob is a thing of wrongness. It tastes bad, and is probably less healthful than the stuff it's trying to replace.

I could not get to sleep last night, and now I'm falling asleep sitting up.

I escaped the siren lure of cable until Babylon 5 moved to TNT. Once I finally had cable, I'm like, "Cooking shows! Crafts! Decorating! Dinosaurs!" It would be hard to go back.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

But, I swear, if they come out looking for the rest of my coffee (which, there is none), or then make coffee and go looking for my cream (which, there is none), I'm gonna blow a gasket.

If they say, is there any coffee/cream? Just say sweetly, "I don't know. Did you buy any?"

ita, yeah, I'm a wicked sap. I also feel like I'm sacrficing my strong woman cred or some shit. But I'm definitely more a sap. He's just so awesome! I am in amazement that most of the rest of the world can survive without him on a daily basis!

If they say, is there any coffee/cream?

Oh, they don't bother asking.

They must have been running too late to have coffee. Not!Emily came out, shook the coffee pot (which he found empty), then went back in his room. They just left. Thank God.

I'm being unfair of him, I know. I'm just really cranky right now.

Well, I don't know about that. I think you're being entirely fair to him, as he is cranky-making.

Sometimes, people just suck and it's not not fair to be pissed about it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Happy Owen Day!!

What is even happening?

Is it September yet?

No. It sounds like it is October. October 12, 1999--the day on which a very special episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer aired. The episode? Say it with me, now: Living Conditions.

Do you or Emily have the episodes on tape or DVD? I think it might prove cathartic.
