I've caught up. There's some stuff to digest, especially from Billytea.
Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Is it September yet?
No. It sounds like it is October. October 12, 1999--the day on which a very special episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer aired. The episode? Say it with me, now: Living Conditions.
Do you or Emily have the episodes on tape or DVD? I think it might prove cathartic.

Actually, I have it on DVD, thanks to my sweetie brother. Maybe I'll watch it later today :).
Love songs nothing but love songs.
Happy Birthday, Owen!!
Dang, I did something nasty to my left hip and/or lower back and it hurts like the bejeesus. I wish I knew what, so I knew how to treat it! Bleargh.
Happy Birthday, Owen!!!
Mom is being very helpful with packing up my stuff, which I appreciate. However, she wants to pack up my entire kitchen on Friday. I would like to eat sometime between the 14th and the 29th. She doesn't seem to get this.
I think we packed up pretty much everything and had an open box set aside for stuff we needed to pack that last day, because there was a LOT of kitchen stuff. We kept out 2 plates, bowls, place settings, 4 classes, and a skillet and a sauce pan. And a corkscrew/bottle opener. Then we threw it in the box that last night. It was kind of fun to live simply for a couple weeks, made dishwashing easy too! (though much more often.)
For billytea: naked mole rats.
Nora, I supppose that is reasonable. I think Mom thinks we should just do take out between now and then, and there is just no way. We can't afford it.
evening conversation: Husband: I love you more than TiVo. t pause But it's close.
Son: Dad! Don't say things like that when I'm drinking!
