It's so good to be employed again.
Oh! And I think I just realized why I've felt a wee bit blue the past week. It's a post stress-relief reaction; my brain's been so jacked up with the work thing that now that I'm permanent, there's a bit of a let-down as that tension has been released. Does that make sense?
That makes absolute sense.
Whew! Actually, figuring that out might help my mood a bit. Now, I'd better get presentable and dressed before I wind up running late.
Thanks! I hope to (it's really hard to get going when there is a cat asleep on my lap).
Someone make me turn off the tv.
There are many alternatives to the Today Show! If you must have news I've been watching the CNN morning show lately. But there is BBC World News at this hour.
HGTV has Simply Quilts in a half hour. Charmed on TNT. Designing Women on Lifetime. Xena on Oxygen. And Logo has Forbidden Love: the Inashamed Stories of Lesbian Lives. (Really)
Hi Anne! Brendon was unhappy that I delayed his flight when he arrived last night and found out it was opening day for your new stadium. (Like he could have managed to get tickets) But they won! Also, employment good.
We're down to basic cable, so we don't get any of those channels. Oh, well. It goes off soon, anyway. No Regis and Kelly, which is on at 9.
I should have basic cable as much as I watch these days. But the boys require all the sports channels.
I think lounging with the newspaper would be a better plan than morning news shows. That was the morning plan BC. Now the morning shows are background noise to my prepping the kids for school.
Happy Birthday Owen!
We had an outside antenna that picked up 13 stations before we caved and got cable. That was plenty for me. Brendon's grandparents moved in with us for a while and Grandpa required ESPN. It was all over after that. So many channels.
Happy birthday Owen!
I'm kind of pathetically looking forward to having real television again this summer. It's gonna be all-chilling, all-the-time.
And in other randomity! I used less grounds this morning and the coffee? was mm-mm-good. My kashi bar, however, was not. I think carob is probably a thing of wrongness.
